Down the road called life

Walkin on the road,
that I've walked for so long,
With the walk getting monotonous
with every step ,I sing the song

I look back at days,
I've passed on this lane
looking at memories,
alas-like the horizon my memory wanes.

But at the horizon i do see
a very much younger me,
walkin brisk, enjoying the lane,
dancing to a tune filled with glee

Days in love, truly they were
days of bliss, back then
Now i look back at those days
I only vaguely remember when.

In between a mist covers the path
I dont see my self for a while,
I squint and look into my past
a past ,I've tried deleting in gods file

As it clears I now see,
A few years past it maybe
The road hasnt changed,
but what has changed there,was me

Still There was the tune
only more solemn and sad
No more dancing, no more joy
only blank stares,reflectin sorrows had

The sorrow is too much to bear,
and I see the life I walked of late
I see to get some hope, to walk ahead
But what do i get,is but misfortune in fate.

I lose hope in walking furthur ahead,
I jus wish I could stop my walk here and end
I saw what i've done , and it has no fun
I sit there, and wait , with no love nor friend

Jus when I think all hope is lost,
only a faint flicker of light flies past
a guiding star , I think of it there,
I choose to follow it, following the light cast

The light took me long and far,
to the very long end, to the doors of bliss
Then I looked to see what it was
love it was, that got me through,yes love it is

I saw it then that love was god
and god was the manifest of love
I knew love seeks for u when u r in need
As god showers his blessings from above.
